SPEAKEASY
Speakeasy, or speak softly, as to not alert residents and police of the party going on in the 1920’s. A time and an era that focused on opulence, glamour, art nouveau, and nightlife. When I do some of these shoots, with my ambassadors, I really want the girls to feel like they are transported back in time. So I want a lot of the images that we take to be able to reflect those colors and fashion. We had a lot of fun planning for this shoot, including picking out the perfect location in downtown Toledo. I had been down here before years ago and I knew this would be the perfect spot for our speakeasy shoot. The dark lighting, the woodwork, the mirrors, and atmosphere. Soto Salon and Spa did a fabulous job helping the girls get ready with hairstyles and make up that matched the era and the time. From jewelry to dresses these girls were decked out and ready to go, and we had a ton of good times!
